Glad to be a Downstate Resident

 

I’ve wanted nothing more than to call in to work, take the day off and go play in the snow till my lips turn blue, but this is more than anyone’s asked for.  This is Middle of the country amounts of snow and boy am I glad to be a NYC resident. 

This city comes to enough of a stand still just dealing with the frigid temp.  Could you imagine if we had to deal with the 100 inches of snow in Oswego, NY? Lake effects snows have buried the area under in as much as three inches of snow an hour.

ps: There are no mountains around here … what you are seeing is 100% snow!
