WTF? Po Po at the door.

So OK. I was blasting the volume and it was 1-am in the morning; But I never thought flabby-lat-bitch would actually make the call.  It is club music afterall and I know you’re a sista; So WTF?

The police were nice, they really didn’t care what either of us thought; they just wanted the music and the situation killed ASAP; I did as asked and that was that, but ya gotta hear this to understand, its as if you’re in a really hot club and the “THUMPA-THUMPA” is working all by itself and you have to blast it or you’ll never get any sleep.

This is a DJ Neon mix available here or from PartyFavorz which is on Itunes.  Enjoy it, just don’t play it to loud.

I’m sending this out to everyone because I want to share an amazing artist I think the world needs to hear…her name is Vassy.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with her and she’s truely special. Checkout the youtube clip of her live at my studio and I think you’ll understand…feel free to share with other peeps 🙂 “
Her music can be heard on “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Ugly Betty.”

Told’ya it was pretty!!

If you’re fans of Amy Winehouse, or Duffy, or the other ’60s throw back pop singers invading the airwaves and your I-Pod lately; you must check out Jamie Lidell. The British techno soulman recently visited AOL’s The Interfaceand played a brief acoustic set featuring the songs “Another Day,” “Little Bit of Feel Good,” “Where’d You Go” and “Game For Fools.”

I was so impressed with this set from Jamie I had to bring it to you.  After listening to countless pre-release sample CD’s; I’m convinced that this is how all new studio albums should be released. He’s not to be missed and definitely the leader of this new ‘throw-back’ pack.

and here’s the hit.  No need to click the prick. http://www.zshare.net/audio/1413907623b4dc4e/

Is Anderson Cooper replacing Katie Couric?

Despite names of potential replacements being bandied about – and the name at the top of the list is CNN’s silver fox, Anderson Cooper;  It in fact it seems CNN and CBS might be considering a trade of sorts. Apparently that happens in both sports and evening news.

Looks like hard work, milk and GV  jeans genes- did a body good.  Who knew?

A blockbuster trade of TV superstars was floated Friday by TV insiders as a solution to CBS’ Couric problem. Cooper, CNN’s prematurely gray prince of cable TV, would replace Couric as the anchor of CBS’ “Evening News.” He already is a contributor to CBS’ “60 Minutes,” they said.

CIRCLE OF HAPPINESS leads to rebirth

I was walking down the curved steps that leave from my home, (while fishing some coin from my pocket to pay for the daily tabs that I enjoy along with my I-pod, coffee and the 1,1/2 hour train commute to work each day-) when I dropped my quarters onto the lawn. As I attempted to  retrieve ’em I noticed that something was going on just beneath the lingering frost and dead leaves I never swept-up this winter.  The crociis’  and tulips I’d toiled over in late October were starting to bud as they prepared to jump forth and reclaim the spring.

It was shortly thereafter that I realized something rather amazing. I was re-awakening too.

Although we were once again spared a NY winter of too many deluging snow storms- the cold; wind; and lack of daylight had taken it tole and had made me more belligerent and short tempered than I’d stomach from any friend or lover. and yet here I stood, safe, happy, admired and sated.

I’ve passed through the maelstrom once again and after a simply dismal winter season in which I saw a 5 yr. relationship fail, the end of other friendships and the loss of my mother after her 81 years of life, I thought I wanted to live no longer.  But curling into a ball and waiting for an end wouldn’t come quickly or stop the molt.

I’ve survived it all. Stronger, wiser and smarter for the tumult. Due in large part to my family, my friends, a  huge workload and that cute dirty~Blond with the weirdly sexy uneven ‘stache that I just gotta know better before I get outta here for good.

If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.
